  • Do kids require a ticket?

    For safety sake, you do need to get tickets for any children that are attending.

    4 and under are FREE
    Ages 5-12 $10
    Ages 13-17 $39

  • Can I bring a bag/backpack?

    Yes, bags are allowed in to the festival.

    There will be a bag check at the front gate to ensure that no banned items (outside food and beverages, filled water bottles, full frame cameras, weapons, etc) are being brought in.

  • Help! I can't find my tickets!

    Check and search your email for your ticket using ‘Riverfest’.

    If you’re having trouble locating it, send an email to GRriverfest@kaxe.org.

  • Will there be parking on site?

    Free parking is available on a variety of parking lots and side streets throughout the downtown area.

    Handicap Accessible parking available in a lot across from the gate entrance.

    We encourage all attendees to carpool, bike or walk when possible.

  • Can I bring a chair/blanket?

    Yes, chairs can be brought in. We prefer lower profile festival chairs, but don't require them!

    There will be a designated area by the stage where no chairs, tarps or blankets are allowed, and will be posted as such.

  • Can I bring in my own food and drink?

    No outside food or beverages are allowed in festival grounds. There will be a variety of vendors at the festival including local breweries, vegan and vegetarian options, plenty of FREE water and more. An array of beverages will be available as well, including non-alcoholic, beer, and liquor.

    Bags will be checked upon entry.

  • Will there be free water available?

    Yes, there will be a free water station available to all attendees . We encourage you to bring your empty reusable water bottle to the festival. If it is not empty upon entry, you will be required to dump out the contents.

  • Is the festival handicap accessible?

    Yes, this event is accessible for people of all abilities. There is Handicap Accessible parking available in the downtown lot across from the venue. There are ADA seating and bathrooms readily accessible from the gate.

  • Can I leave and come back?

    Yes! Readmittance is allowed and we encourage you to visit our downtown businesses while you’re in Grand Rapids for the weekend.

  • Are cameras allowed at the festival?

    Full frame cameras are not allowed at the festival without given clearance. Phone cameras are A-Ok for all.

  • Do vendors accept credit cards and/or cash?

    Yes, both!

  • Is camping available in Grand Rapids?

    There are several camping locations throughout Grand Rapids, most of which are first come first served. Discover more lodging options here.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    No pets allowed. Service dogs are the exception.

  • Where do I find ticket pricing and sale dates?

    Tickets can be found at www.grandrapidsriverfest.com/tickets.

    A limited number of Early Bird Tickets will be available through Friday, May 10th or sold out. KAXE Members receive an additional $10 discount through May 10th. Not a member? Become one today!

  • Is this in Minnesota or Michigan?

    Grand Rapids Riverfest is located in Grand Rapids, MINNESOTA!

  • Are there shuttles, Lyft or Uber?

    At this time there will be no shuttle service this year. Given this event is located in a small town, there are currently no ride-sharing services available.

    We encourage attendees to carpool, walk and bike when possible!
